Classroom News and Notes

Week of Dec. 19 – Dec. 22

Christmas is coming! We are in full preparation mode as we get ready to share the news of Jesus' birth! This week we will having a Christmas theme. The children won't have regular Christlight or math homework but may have a Christmas sheet sometime this week.

Here are some important items to take note of this week:

- Wednesday is our Christmas Program. The services are at 2:00 and 6:30. Please send dress clothes to school with your child on Wednesday (nice pants, shoes, top, sweater, dress, etc.). If you would prefer to have your child wear their dress clothes all day that works as well!

- Please bring your child to the church basement by 6:15 on Wednesday evening. The school will line up in the basement before the service. Your children sit right next to the large Christmas tree on the west side of the church.

- Thursday is our Christmas party! We will be dipping and decorating cookies and pretzels and playing Christmas games. If you would like to provide a treat for the children to have during the party please let me know (we have 9 students).

- Please send in a jar of sprinkles, chocolate chips, or candy to help decorate the pretzels with. Your child can bring in their item anytime this week. I will send home the extra sprinkles.
